Albert LeRoy Blankenship 8/28/33-1/13/15Resident of San JoseAlbert passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital, on Tuesday, January 13, at the age of 82.Born in Everest, Kansas, he served in the US Navy before settling in San Jose. A devoted family man, his greatest pleasures in life were spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, woodworking, and the outdoors. He was a proud member of the UFCW and the Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Steve Radunich, his son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Laurel Blankenship, his daughter-in-law, Robyn Blankenship, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joann and son, Rick.Visitation from 3pm-6pm, followed by a rosary from 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, January 20, will be held at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St. in San Jose. Services will be held at 11:30am, Wednesday, January 21st at Chapel of Flowers, followed by placement at Los Gatos Memorial Park at 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd. in Los Gatos, with a reception afterwards at the home of Anna and Steve Radunich.
