Alice Molina DelgadoLong-time resident of San Jose Born November 29, 1929, in San Bernardino, Alice passed away peacefully Sunday, July 15, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Alice was raised and attended school in Visalia, California where she met her husband, Manuel H. Delgado. Together they raised 5 children and were happily married for over 60 years. Alice was employed at Sun Garden Cannery for many years and was a member of the G.I. Forum auxiliary and the Most Holy Trinity altar society. She was a great cook and made the best tortillas ever! She encouraged the education of her family and was always involved with their school activities. Alice always loved music and dancing and was moving to the music 'til the end. She will be greatly missed by her husband Manuel, her children Margaret, Adela, Manuel, Greg and Laura; her grandchildren Jessica, Alicia, Angelina, Kristen, Isabella, Jake and great-granddaughter Alexis; son/daughter-in-laws Josie, Angelo, Belai, and Marcy; her sister Elia, her brother Manuel, and her many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving sisters and brothers Salvador, Pete, Joe, Mike, Sally, Mary, and Ramona and her grandchildren Samantha and Benny.Vigil service will be held at the Chapel of Flowers (San Jose), Monday 7/23 at 7pm. A funeral mass will be held at Most Holy Trinity (San Jose) Tuesday, 7/24 at 10am with burial service following at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
