Anna Marie Ritchison

Anna Marie Ritchison04/17/1912- 03/27/2013Resident of San JoseAnna Marie Ritchison, age 100, passed away at her home in San Jose on March 27, 2013. She was proceeded by and will now join her beloved husband Richard LeRoy Ritchison. Born in Mt. Eden CA, Anna was the third of seven children of John Theotonio and Anna Margaret Theotonio-Garcia. Anna retired after 20 years from San Jose State College. She worked in the Biology Storeroom and later managed the Natural Science Resource Center where she assisted student teachers with supplies and lesson plans. Anna is survived by three daughters- Anna Marie Johnson (Wesley), Mischele Carpenter and Dixie LaCroix (David). She also leaves behind dear friends Marion Pyper, Elliot Snyder and Fr. Martin Abrego. She is the grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 30 and great-great grandmother of 9 with numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West as well as a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West. Rosary and visitation at 7pm on April 3rd at Chapel of Flowers. Funeral Mass will be celebrated April 4th at Sacred Heart Church 325 Willow St. San Jose at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery San Jose, CA.
