Annie Lee OsborneSept. 22, 1941 - Dec. 24, 2021San Jose, CaliforniaOur beloved Annie Lee Osborne, 80, of San Jose, CA, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 24, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. She was a warrior during her last days, as she fought the unexpected complications of heart valve surgery. Annie was born on September 22, 1941 to Zebedee and Leoma Tiller, in Waco Texas. She was raised and attended school in Texas. Her father was a Pastor, who often called on her to sing and play the piano for the congregation. Annie was baptized and gave her life to the Lord at an early age. In 1958, Annie married Joe F. Alexander and moved to San Jose, CA shortly after marriage. To this union came five children, Leoma, Joe Jr., Debra, Michelle and Pamela. In 1997, she remarried Denton Osborne. Annie worked 30 years with the County of Santa Clara before retiring. Shortly after retirement, she became a volunteer at O'Connor hospital where she loved interacting and greeting visitors. Annie had an abundance of love and joy, which she freely shared with others. Her giving heart and kind nature stood out to everyone who met her. She enjoyed attending church, singing, playing the piano, volunteering, long walks, reading the Bible, playing dominoes and spending time with family and friends. Annie was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Zebedee Jr. and Pete; her son, Joe F. Alexander Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Leoma Alexander, Debra Peterson (Percy), Michelle "Renee" Smith and Pamela Lymus (Craig); daughter-in-law Mechi Alexander; sister-in-law Christine Coleman; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan Tiller and Johnny Joe Tiller; estranged spouse, Denton Osborne; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration to honor Annie's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Chapel of Flowers Funeral Home, 900 South 2nd Street, San Jose, CA 95112.
