Antonia Contreras Flores

Antonia Contreras Flores Died peacefully on December 19, 2004. She was born in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on July 10, 1909. She married Felipe Flores, Sr., in January 1928. She was the loving mother of Aucencia Garza and her husband, Higinio Garza and Felipe Flores Jr., and his wife, Maria Louisa Flores. Antonia was the grandmother of 15, Jesusita Alcorcha, Maria Antonia Inda, Angie Eakin, Linda Rodriguez, Anna Maria Sanchez, Margarita Garza, Joe Garza, Arturo Garza, Rene Garza, Enrique Flores, Maria D. Flores, Isabel Salierno, and Irma Flores. She is preceded in death by her husband, Felipe, and two grandchildren, Armando Flores and Esperanza Garza. Antonia left 20 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Leo's Church. Vigil will be held at the Chapel of Flowers, 900 South Second Street in San Jose at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 22. Catholic Mass will be celebrated at St. Leo's Church on Race Street in San Jose on Thursday, December 23rd at 10 a.m. followed by graveside services at Mission Cemetery in Santa Clara.
