She was a faithful wife to one man, Carlos (Charlie) Galvan who passed away at the age of 62 on November 2, 1979 when she was only 64. He was the love of her life and she never remarried or dated again. She was a strong feisty woman who was always there when you needed her. Athalia is survived by daughter Barbara Salcido, son Carlos Galvan, daughter Joyce Jimenez, son Eddie Galvan, son Donald Galvan Sr., daughter Charlotte Hernandez, son Richard Galvan Sr. and daughter Athalia Navarro. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and too many great and great great grandchildren to count. Her life will be celebrated this Thursday, March 21st at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St. San Jose. Her viewing will be from 9am-11am. Service will start at 11am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetary at 1pm 2655 Madden Ave. San Jose where she will be laid to rest with the love of her life, Carlos (Charlie) Galvan. Chapel of Flowers (408) 294-9663
