UntitledBenjamin CandelariaWith great sadness and loss we announce the passing of our beloved father, Benjamin Candelaria, on Sept. 18th, after a long and courageous struggle with cancer. He was a proud World War II veteran with the Naval Service. He loved being a parent and raised his first three children as a single parent. His kind, gentle and humble approach to all will always be remembered.He is the beloved father to Antoinette, Adrienne and David. Loving step-father to Wesley, Gloria, Antonia, and Michelle. Grandfather of eleven and great-grandfather of one. Family and friends may visit the Chapel of Flowers at 900 South 2nd Street, San Jose on Sunday, Sept. 24th, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. which will include the Vigil Service starting at 7 p.m. Mass will be said on Monday, Sept. 25th, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church at 325 Willow Street in San Jose.
