She was a native of the Philippines and had resided in San Jose for 45 years. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Federico Yamat, Sr. and was a beloved mother of 9 children, Lynn Yamat, Bernard Yamat, Esmeralda Todorovic, Federico Yamat, Jr., Errol Yamat, Cindy Panelo, Evelyn Zielinski, Ray Yamat and Annette Buchholz, 23 adoring grandchildren, 21 cherishing great grandchildren and loving mother in law of 9. She believed in the old fashion tradition of carefully watching and raising children and loving all family members without conditions, also was a devoted catholic and her personal passions were traveling, sewing, gardening, cooking and lovingly attending to all family events. Her strong will, loving and accepting personality, maternal nature and family oriented views are cherished and will be sorely missed. The Yamat family would like to graciously thank all for their sincere expressions of kindness, warm thoughts and love!
