Cameron "Bruce" Steeves Aged 75 years, peacefully passed away on November 26, 2007, with his loving wife and family at his bedside. A beloved husband, father and "Pa Pa" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bruce is survived by his wife, Helen, daughter Debbie, son Bruce, son-in-law Gregg and daughter-in-law, Marjorie, daughters, Kimberly and Kelly and son-in-law, Jason. Bruce's much loved grandchildren are Kristy, Eric, Nicole, Michael, Kyle, Stephanie, Jacob, Cosette and Nicholas, as well as three great-grandchildren. Born, June 11, 1932, in Los Angeles, CA, Bruce served with distinguished honor in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1952-1956. He began his professional career in the Bay Area, where he worked at IBM, Memorex and other local electronic firms, before founding his own start-up company; CamJax Testing Technology. Bruce ran CamJax successfully until his retirement. The eldest of 3 children, Bruce is also survived by his sister, Barbara, brother Bob, brother-in-law Ed and nephew Dan. A fan of western movies, the 49ers, Giants and with a special ability to fix almost anything, Bruce's warmth, kindness and sparkling sense of humor will be fondly remembered and cherished by his family and friends. His grandchildren will especially miss playing "cowboys" with their "Pa Pa". A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Julie's Church, 366 St. Julie Drive, San Jose, Calif. A reception will follow. Arrangements by Chapel of Flowers, San Jose.
