Carmen S. Garcia Entered into eternal rest in San Jose, CA on April 19, 2008 with her family at her side. Carmen is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, David R. Garcia. Beloved mother of Virginia Aguilar, Veronica Casanova, Valerie Silva, Geraldine Collett, Genevieve Rodriguez, and Chris Garcia. Dear sister of David Ramirez. Cherished grandmother of 15. Also survived by many special nieces and nephews. A native of Parlier, CA. Age 77 years. Carmen was an extraordinary woman and an inspiration to her family. She will always be remembered for her strong will, kindness, generosity, and her devotion to God and the Holy Rosary. She will truly be missed by those whose hearts she touched, especially her family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 4 - 9 p.m. at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St., with Vigil at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 4601 Hyland Ave., SJ. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
