Charles Nicholas Perez Sept. 10, 1946 - April 10, 2009. Born in San Jose, CA. Entered into rest after a lengthy illness due to complications of diabetes. Survived by sons Jason Marcus and Charles Jr., mother Jacobed Caravayo, brothers Larry, Benjamin and Timothy, 2 grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his father Joseph and closest sibling, Diana Lynda. Charles was a self-employed auto mechanic and lived most of his life in the San Jose area. He leaves behind his zest for living life on his own, independent terms, a unique gift as a jokester, his amazing knowledge of cars and the mechanics business, an undiscovered talent for singing his favorite oldies tunes, as well as being a caring father and grandfather. To honor his request and last wishes, cremation has been arranged and will be followed by a small gathering. Family and friends are invited to a remembrance of his life to be held at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St. on Friday, April 17 at 6pm.
