Consuelo Killins

Consuelo Santos KillinsResident of San JosePassed away on Jan. 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard Killins, son Greg Killins, and daughter Victoria Salmon. She had a colorful life and will be most known for her work in the community and arts advocacy. She served on many boards councils including chairing the California Arts Council for 12 yrs. Her life and career centered around helping others, starting as a nurse in San Antonio Chicago, to teaching at SJSU, to presiding over several local non-profit organizations. Those whose lives had been touched by her will always remember her passion and her huge heart for helping those in need. Friends and Family are invited to celebrate her life on her birthday, Sat. Feb. 25th at 5:00 pm at Chapel Of Flowers.
