Daniel A. Larot Born 3-6-35, Promoted to Glory peacefully in his sleep 1-30-08. Totally devoted to his family and wife Evangeline Larot of 52 years who preceded him in death. In 1959, he left the Philippines and established himself in the U.S. eventually sponsoring and opening the door for a better way of life for himself and 9 family members over several years. Eldest son of Felipe and Anatalia Larot. Brother to James (Precy), Joseph (Else) Benjamin (deceased). Donations in Daniel's memory may be made to The Salvation Army Santa Clara County, Senior Nutritional Center. Evangeline L. Larot Born 8-16-36, Promoted to Glory after a lengthy illness on 1-28-08. Entered Heaven's gate with her husband of 52 years by her side. Daughter of Brigadiers Eligio and Guadalupe Loresco (deceased), pioneers for The Salvation Army Ministry in the Philippines. Loving sister to Catherine Ramos and brother Samuel Loresco (Evan). Donations in Evangeline's memory can be made to The Salvation Army Santa Clara, Music Program. Daniel and Evangeline are survived by their children Ligaya Sorich, Liwayway Gimenez (Kiko), Daniel Larot, Jr., (Linda) and Leilani Rocheleau (Sky), 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many more nieces, nephews, family and friends. Viewing is at 11 a.m. Monday, 2-4-08 at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd Street, SJ. Celebration Service and Reception to follow at 1 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 359 N. 4th Street, San Jose.
