Darold Lawrence NunesResident of San Jose Age 54. He was the son of Lawrence "Larry" Nunes who was born in Portugal and Mildred "Millie" Grant who was born in Iowa. It gives his family peace to know he has been reunited with his parents in Heaven.He is survived by his children: Isaiah Darold Nunes, Priscilla Castillo & Susie Torres. He was the Father in law to: Gilbert Castillo & Angel Torres II. Grandfather of: Destiny Castillo, Emily Castillo, Isaiah Nunes, Jeremiah Nunes, Delilah Nunes, Angel Torres III, Nicholas Torres, Sophie Rita Torres. Brother of: Mark Barnreiter, Van Barnreiter and survived by his previous wife and mother to his children, Cookie Martinez.He was a kind and loving man. He loved his Children and Parents very much. He loved camping, fishing and the outdoors. When you spoke with him he would make you laugh he was funny and knew how to crack a smile. When he was younger he wanted to be famous. He got his 15 minutes of fame in a back up role in an old 1970's movie and he thought he could sing like Elvis Presley. He was too funny. He always said God Bless you and loved the lord. He was taken from this world to soon and we mourn him because we miss him but he smiles down on us because he is now resting in Paradise. He will be missed by all that knew him and loved him. His Children especially, who will always share a deep love for their father.The family would like to acknowledge his church for all there love and support that they have given him while he was alive and his family during these hard times.Funeral Services will be held at Chapel of Flowers 900 S. 2nd Street, Monday, May 17th from 10-11AM followed by the burial at 2 pm San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine, CA.
