Dennis Eugene Schauer Adored father of three, cherished grand father of 6, beloved brother and son. Respected engineer for Lockheed Martin Aerospace special programs of 40 years. Entered into eternal rest with the love of his life Yolanda Schauer on May 15, 2009 in San Jose. Family, loyalty, respect, freedom, integrity, courage and innovation were some of the things that mattered most to him. He dedicated his life to his belief in the future. The thirst for knowledge grew deep within him and he planted that seed within his grandchildren. He loved sharing memories of his G.T.O., his time in Portola Valley and of his childhood in La Honda Pecadero and Palo Alto. He put his heart, mind, soul and endless love towards raising his family much like he did towards his second passion: the aerospace and missile programs. Much like space, his love had no limits. Graveside service to be held on Thursday, May 21 at Alta Mesa Cemetery, Palo Alto at 11am. Services entrusted to Chapel of Flowers.
