Devasia M. Perumattikunnel, born on June 29, 1930, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024. A devoted family man, Devasia was the cherished father of five children, a beloved grandfather to eleven grandchildren, and a proud great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren.

Devasia was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Devasia, who passed away in 2021. Together, they built a legacy of love, faith, and strong family values.

Before moving to the United States, Devasia was a dedicated farmer in India. After immigrating, he became a U.S. citizen and led a peaceful life, known for his calm demeanor and unconditional love for everyone around him. Devasia was the coolest, never angry person, whose kindness and patience touched everyone he met.

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his five children, two daughters-in-law, three sons-in-law, eleven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to celebrate Devasia's life will be held on July 20, 2024, at St. Thomas Syro Malabar Church in Fremont at 9:30 AM, followed by the burial at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Dr, Los Altos, CA at 1:00 PM. After the interment, food will be served at Grant Park & Community Center, 1575 Holt Ave, Los Altos, CA 94024.
