Diana Marie Paradiso In Saratoga, CA August 30, 2008. Loving mother of Alekzander Baghramian and Joanna Borrego-Velez (Robert). Devoted daughter of Anthony and Francisca Paradiso. Adoring grandmother of Julian, Elliot and Mateo Velez. Dear niece of Theresa Paradiso (the late Richard), Pargie and Louis Belfort, Victoria Helmke and the late Louis Paradiso and Anthony Yglesias, Dear cousin of Melanie, Renee, Brenda and Pam. Also preceded in death by her grandparents Rocco and Santina Paradiso and Ubalda and Juan Yglesias. A native of San Jose aged 55 years. Diana graduated from Notre Dame High School and San Jose City College. As a teenager she worked at Paradiso's Delicatessen. After college she worked in the floral business, first at Navlet's and later at Blossom Floral and Every things Blooming Florist. Diana succumbed to pancreatic cancer after a Courageous battle. Diana was an inspiration to many and her faith in the Lord never wavered. She will be greatly missed. Donations to UNICEF or St. Jude's Children Hospital would be appreciated. Vigil services will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St. San Jose. Funeral Service on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Clare Chapel at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
