We gather here today to commemorate the life of our beloved Dolores Campos, a cherished loved one who graced us with her presence in San Jose, California. With great sorrow, we announce that she departed this earthly realm on December 27, 2023, at the age of 69.
Dolores peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loved ones, after bravely enduring a lengthy battle with her illness. Born on May 25, 1954, in the heart of San Jose, California, she was the daughter of Irene Pineda and Lawrence Flores. Dolores leaves behind an enduring legacy defined by love and devotion.
She is survived by her son, Phillip Calvillo, and her daughter Pauline Campos. In addition to these cherished children, Dolores bestowed upon this world her precious grandchildren: Nelson, Monique, Michael, and Elizabeth. Furthermore, she lovingly guided her great-grandchildren on the path of life.
Within the bonds of family lies profound strength and unity. Dolores is also survived by her dear siblings: Lawrence Flores Jr., David Flores, Jenny F Conde, Margie Flores, Annie Rivera, Angie Diaz, and Mary Ann Cisneros. The unbreakable bond they shared symbolized resilience and unconditional love.
A true testament to her remarkable character will be held at Chapel of Flowers Funeral Home on January 18 from 3-6 PM. Additionally, everyone is encouraged to join us the following morning for a sacred gathering commencing at 10 AM for a heartfelt half-hour ceremony. An escorted procession will solemnly proceed from Chapel of Flowers to Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 10:30 AM - an opportunity limited to a group of utmost significance consisting of only twenty-four cars.
If you are not an immediate member of our cherished family or one chosen as a Pall Bearer, we kindly request for you to meet us at Calvary Cemetery in preparation for the Burial Rites promptly at 11:00 AM. Let us unite in remembrance and bid farewell, as we honor the extraordinary life of Dolores our beloved mother, loving grandmother, affectionate sister and dear friend.
