Edward Wesley Blanchard Passed away at the age of 69 on October 1, 2007 in San Jose, CA. He was born in Syracuse, New York, and had a distinguished Army career as a Commissioned Officer. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran, awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Subsequently his career followed the Army as a Program Manager for Ford Aerospace and Loral Systems. Following Loral Ed was employed as a Realtor in Los Altos California with Coldwell Banker. He was also an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife Hannelore, his sister Diane, his brothers Richard & Gerald, five children, Robin, Lisa, Jason, Lore and Michael, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren as well as many friends and associates. A Memorial Service will be held at the Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club on October 11, 2007 at 5 p.m. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in Ed's name.
