EDWARD LEE CARTER, 68 Passed away on March 24, 2005. Born to Nathan and Leona Carter of Bastrop, Louisiana. He served in the United States Marine Corps in 1959. He retired from Lockheed Martin as executive engineer and at Miracle Maid Corp. as regional district manager. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, from San Jose, California. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Antoinette Marie Carter; three sons, Johnny Glover, Raymond Glover and George Hester Jr. from California; one daughter, Belinda Glenn of Cedar Hill, Texas; three sisters, Marie Carter, Ethel Irvin of California and OC Hollimon of Louisiana; two brothers, Nathan Carter and Theodore Carter from California; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services on April 1, 2005, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 425 McCreery Avenue, San Jose, Calif., at 11 a.m., Pastor Lee Campbell, Eulogist, and Dr. Ivory Jr. Redeaux Sr., Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Oakland, officiating. Interment held at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, Calif. Wake services at Chapel of the Flowers, 900 South 2nd Street, San Jose, Calif., on Thursday, March 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
