Epifanio Chano Parra

Epifanio "Chano" Parra 9/10/54 - 10/11/07 Epifanio Chano Parra born in Fresno, Ca September 10, 1954 passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Santa Clara surrounded by his family on October 11th after a brave battle with cancer for 2 years. Chano grew up in San Jose where he spent most of his life. After overcoming may obstacles in his life he met and married Renee Laura Lopez. He worked as a welder for the past 12 years, 7 of those for Screen-Tech. He loved all sports. Preceded in death by his father Agustin Parra, his mother Remigia Casteneda and brother Agustin Parra Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Renee Laura Parra, loving father to Joel, Renee, Chano Jr., Esperanza, Bonnie, Sebastian & Manuel. Step-father to Rosemary & Johnny. Son-in-law to Mary Lopez, brother to Erma, Consuelo, Dolores, Helen, Francis, Rosemary, Jesus & Vicente. Brother in law to Yolanda &(Raul) Silva & (Tony) Leticia& (Luis,) Salvador & (Antoinette,) Gerardo&(Selena.) He was an uncle & grandfather to many. Vigil Services will be held Thursday October 18th, 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Flowers 900 S. 2nd St. San Jose. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 19th at 11:00am at the above chapel burial to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery 490 Lincoln, Santa Clara.
