Frank D. Tallerico9/30/1924-3/20/2013Resident of San JoseFrank D. Tallerico Jr. passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2013, he was 88.Frank is survived by his beloved Sylvia, his bride of almost 67 years, his children Emily, Frank (Patti), Michael (Frances). Grandchildren Valerie, Lauren, Matthew, Christopher, Michaela and his sister Adeline Patellaro.Frank was born in Weed, CA. the youngest of 12 children. He moved with his family to San Jose at the age of 11. After graduating from San Jose High he served in WWII overseas on the island of Tinian working on B29s. After returning home he worked at Alameda Naval Air Station for 35 years where he was a air craft mechanic receiving numerous awards for his work and dedication. Frank touched many lives and will be dearly missed by both family and friends.Vigil service will be held 4/2/13 at 7pm at Chapel of Flowers. Funeral service will be held 4/3/13 at 10am also at Chapel of Flowers. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
