Gerry J. GerrardJun. 20, 1947 - Dec. 9, 2017Resident of San JoseBorn in Vancouver, Canada, Gerry came with his family to San Jose in 1953. In 1966 he enlisted in the Army, serving first in Germany guarding the Berlin Wall, then as a reconnaissance in Vietnam until he was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 1969. Gerry returned home, married Doreen Biddle, and raised three beautiful girls.Gerry was a regional manager for Harley Davidson in Santa Clara and later became a businessman, owning Leo's Bullhorn in San Jose and Callahan's Pub in Santa Cruz.Gerry is survived by his family: brother Ralph Gerrard; daughters Joy Byars, Kristy Gerrard and Ericka Gerrard; grandchildren Anjanett, Nick, Travis, and Devyn; great grandchildren Jovanii and Effi; and his beloved dog booboo.
