Gordon Thomas Robinson

ROBINSON, Gordon Thomas Born July 15, 1927 and died February 12, 2005 in Sacramento, CA. The son of Thomas and Anna McAllister Robinson, natives of Ireland. He is survived by brother Roger Robinson (Tommi) of Sacramento, nephew Bradley Robinson of San Francisco, and niece Courtney Robinson of Providence, Rhode Island. A native son who was a product of local schools and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, he was a graduate of UC Berkeley and UC Hastings College of Law. While living in Berkeley, he was the owner of "Robbie's" a popular Telegraph Avenue restaurant. A member of the California State Bar, he was a retired Supervising Assistant Public Defender for Sacramento County. He was a Master Mason and a former member of Union Lodge #58, F&AM. Generous to a fault and a friend to all, he will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by his family and his many friends. At his request, no service will be held. Interment private.
