Hazel Irene FowleResident of San Jose 3/9/1922 - 5/19/2010Born Hazel Irene Wilson in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Hazel was a registered nurse who served in the Canadian Royal Air Force. Hazel married David Fowle who passed away shortly after their union. Hazel later married Jack Fowle and moved to California in 1952. Hazel retired as head charge nurse from the Red Cross of San Jose. She spent a lifetime of helping others both professionally and in her personal life. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Jack and is survived by her sister Frieda Swanson of Canada, and Hazel's four children and their families. Son James Fowle of Missouri and his wife Angie, granddaughters Emily Miller and husband Dan, Sarah Storozuk and husband Michael. Daughter Carol Roby of Santa Cruz and granddaughter Rachel Tarrodaychik and husband Jeremy, grandsons Jared, Ryan and Sean Roby. Son Robert Fowle of San Jose and wife Susan, granddaughter Joy Byers, granddaughter Linda Place, grandson Randy Fowle. Daughter Hollie Rux of San Jose, granddaughter Stephanie Bravo and her husband Luis, grandson Nicholas Rux, grandson Daniel Rux and wife Anna. Great grandchildren: Anginette, Nick, Alona, Jackson, Lylah, Jacob, and Jona. Great great grandson Giovanni.A memorial service to celebrate Hazel's life will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 6pm at Chapel of Flowers, San Jose, California.
