Helen Toshiyo Fujito

UntitledHelen Toshiyo FujitoAge 97, passed away quietly on November 16, 2006 in San Jose, CA. She was a longtime resident of San Jose and earlier, San Mateo, CA. Helen was born in Alviso, CA on December 6, 1908. She was the beloved widow of the late Roland Teizo Fujito and is survived by three sons, Roland T. (Judith) Fujito of Sunnyvale, CA; Col. Wayne T. (Kazuko) Fujito of Vienna, VA; and Dr. Don T. (Alison) Fujito of Pittsburgh, PA, and brother-in-law George (the late Ruth) Tominaga of Lincoln, NE. She has eight grandchildren – David (Lori Lee) Fujito, San Bruno, CA; Diane (Gary) Suplick, Fremont, CA; and Barbara (Daniel) Fritschen, Sunnyvale, CA; Brian (Iris) Fujito, Alexandria, VA and Joanne Fujito, Vienna, VA; and Michael, Daniel and Emily Fujito, all of Pittsburgh, PA. Additionally, Helen has six great grandchildren – Christina and Allison Fritschen, Sunnyvale, CA; Scott and Sarah Suplick, Fremont, CA; and Jonathan and Mira Fujito, Alexandria, VA. At her request, a private family memorial will be held. She will be interred at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA. Memorial donations may be made to Yu-Ai Kai, 588 No. 4th Street, San Jose, CA 95112. The Fujitos are very grateful for the many individuals – relatives, friends, caregivers, and health care professionals – who have been so kind and caring for our dear mother, Helen.
