Henry Edward Kalama

KALAMA, Henry Edward -- Passed away November 4, 2003, age 61. Beloved son of Henry and Lani Kalama. Devoted father of Koleka Kalama, from former wife Marilynn Banchero. Adoring grandfather of Jada, Gage and Gavin. Loving brother of Gail Kalama-Graham, Sterling, Harold, Julian, Steven, and Monte Kalama. Henry was born May 14, 1942 in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1954 the Kalama family moved to California. This was the beginning of his love for sports. After graduating from San Leandro High, he attended Hartnell Junior College, where he played football and was named All American in 1962. Henry was a loving and caring man and will be missed by his family and friends, especially Henry's (Deanna). Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2003 at CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose, CA.
