Herman Gradel

UntitledHerman GradelPassed away on December 12, 2006 at the age of 73. Longtime resident of San Jose, Herman was born in Freeburg, MO on July 8, 1933. The Gradel family moved to California in 1943. At 20 Herman joined the Army and served for two years. After leaving the service he worked many years as a master carpenter. His lifelong hobby was fishing and he shared this hobby with his sons. His one wish was to visit his son in Alaska, a wish that was fulfilled in 1999. Herman is survived by his children Cindy, Dennis and Steve, His sisters Marge, Nancy and Rose, granddaughters, nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on December 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Flowers, 900 S. Second Street, San Jose. Burial will be at Los Gatos Memorial Cemetery.
