Jacqueline SmithJune 23, 1924-Nov. 16, 2018Willow GlenJacqueline C. Smith, who lived for decades in Willow Glen and owned a small office building in Santa Clara, passed away on Nov. 16. She lived to 94. In 2017, Jackie, as she was known to most people, moved out of her home and into a room at Lincoln Glen Manor. She suffered from dementia in her last few years, but visited regularly with her family and was able to meet her great grandson. She spent most of her life with her husband Harland Smith, a retired small businessman who died in 2002. They spent many years traveling to a second home in Grass Valley, Calif. and took pride in remodeling their home in Willow Glen. She is survived by her daughter Cassandra Bellantoni, son Alex Smith, daughter-in-law Brenda, grandchildren Christina, Kyle and Kira, and great grandson Maxwell. The family will celebrate Jacqueline's life on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 at the Chapel of Flowers, 900 South 2nd Street in San Jose from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to the Young Survival Coaltion.
