Beloved wife of the late Benny Ruiz, a widow for the last eight years, yet she still celebrated her golden anniversary of fifty years with her husband and family on a cruise of the Mexican Riviera. A native of California and a long time resident of San Jose, CA. Jessica started as a migrant working in various farms in California. She moved on to working for Del Monte Cannery and then found her labor of love as a Hair Stylist for Macy's, retiring after working 33 years at Macy's, at Valley Fair Shopping Center. Some of her customers at Macy's became her life long friends and she continued to take care of their hair after she retired. She was a practicing Catholic and faithfully attended church and a prayer group on a weekly basis. She had many hobbies and skills from making dolls, creating and sewing clothes and outfits, to making bean bags chairs.
