Joseph S. Serna

UntitledJoseph S. SernaDied suddenly and peacefully in his sleep on July 29, 2006 at the age of 69. Born on April 17, 1937 in Tucumcari, New Mexico, he moved to San Francisco as a young man. While growing up he had many friends and he also met his future wife, Lydia, who preceded him in death. In 1973 Joe and Lydia moved their family to San Jose where they raised their four children; Joseph, Rena, Helen and Michael. Along with his children, Joe leaves behind daughter-in-law, Maria, three grandchildren, Arlene, Olivia and Joseph, his brother, Raymond and sister, Adele, as well as many nieces and nephews and many life long family and friends. He will be missed by everyone his life touched.Visitation August 1, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose. Vigil service at the above chapel at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Most Holy Trinity church. At the request of the family the burial will be private.
