Juan E. BarrientesResident of San Jose 3/27/1940 4/17/2011Juan E. Barrientes was the founder and executive director of "Casa Raza". Juan was an avid community activist and organizer, he was a remarkably positive person who gave support to all the people who were fortunate enough to know him and befriend him. Juan passed away on an early Sunday morning, beginning the ultimate journey home. He leaves behind his one and only best friend: Dora Castro, his dear friend Meung Lee, his brother and sister: Telle & Colleen Barrientes, his children: Joshua & Johnny Barrientes, Norma Castro & Corinna, Carlos Bermudez, and four grandchildren: Dorinna, Angelina and Sarinna Bermudez, as well as Angelina Varela. Wake: 4/28 Service 7 pm Chapel of Flowers. Burial 4/29 11:00 am Oak Hill Cemetery.
