Julia Moreno Garcia

Julia Moreno Garcia Born March 1, 1935 in El Paso, Texas. Went to heaven March 21, 2009. Loving daughter of the belated Manuel and Esparanza Moreno. Loving wife of belated Perfecto P. Garcia. Loving sister of belated Eloise Martinez, Manuel Moreno Jr., and Ceciela Garcia. Julia's Legacy will live on. She is survived by her five children, David, Monica, Daniel, Edward and Margaret Garcia, her three loving granddaughters Nicole, Sarah and Jeanne Garcia, her beloved grandson Jorge Machura and beloved great-grandson Matthew Campos. She is also survived by her loving daughter-in-law Jayne Garcia and son-in-law Jorge Machura Sr. Many nieces and nephews will also miss her. She was the loving sister of her surviving siblings Edward, Eugene and George Moreno. Julia had a love for children. She had a devoted career working with children of all ages, Julia was the director of the First Infant Day Care Center in the antion Los Peqinitos, and Para Professional aid for pre-school to school age migrant education and finally a bilingual instructional aid for San Jose High Academy. She will always be remembered to be a very loving and dedicated person to all the lives of students she worked with. Services will be held on Wed. March 25, 2009 at Chapel of Flowers. Visitation begins at 5 pm with vigil at 7 pm at above chapel. Graveside Service will be at 10 am at Calvary Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, March 26, 2009.
