Kenneth Bernhard Hyland

Kenneth Bernhard Hyland Surrounded by his loving family, passed away on February 26, 2005. Born on April 1, 1950, Ken was a life-long resident of San Jose. He was employed for almost 16 years as a Coroner's Investigator with Santa Clara County until his retirement in 2002. He also had a life-long talent and passion for graphic arts and designed many logos used by local businesses and t-shirt designs to sell at science fiction/fantasy conventions. He is survived by his wife, Kristy McCumby Hyland, sons Joseph and Benjamin Hyland, his mother, Lydia Hyland, and his brothers and sisters Larry Hyland, Corinne Barrett, Ralph Hyland, and Patty Wellman, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind numerous friends and a larger extended family in both California and Alaska. The Celebration of his Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2005 at Chapel of Flowers, in San Jose, California.
