Laif Eric Gronley

GRONLEY, Laif Eric-- was born and raised in Pleasanton/Sunol. Died Friday, August 16, 2002. he was 42. Laif was a graduate of Foothill High School, Pleasanton, playing in Foothill's Marching Band, Jazz Band and Concert Band. He also was in Sunol's 4-H serving as president for a couple of years. Laif enjoyed camping, water skiing, music and building computers. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.Survived by his children, Joscelyn and Michael Gronley; who he loved dearly. Father/stepmother, Eric and Lillian Gronley; brothers; John and Robert Gronley of San Jose and David Wofford of Pleasanton, four nephews, Eric (Willy) Gronley of San Jose, and Johnathon, Joshua and Jordan Wofford of Pleasanton; grandmothers, Mildred Gronley of Sunol, Olivette Chinn of Livermore and Lorraine Highsmith of Texas, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose.
