Leroy Anthony Rampone Sr.Jan. 17, 1924 - Aug. 20, 2013Resident of San Jose"Leroy Anthony Rampone Sr passed away on Aug. 20th, 2013 in San Jose. He was 89 years old. His younger years were spent serving in the Navy and helping his family run the first Italian delicatessen in San Jose. He later co-owned Alpine Park, which he loved telling stories about. His family was the most important thing to him, but hunting, fishing and woodworking were a close second. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lucyll, daughter Georgette, son Leroy and daughter-in-law Dorene, and grandchildren Celia and Anthony. His family loved him and will miss him dearly. Services will be held at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S 2nd St, on August 29th at 4pm."
