UntitledLondy Joseph PetroniBorn on August 2, 1922 in San Jose, entered the heavenly gates on March 26, 2006. His family immigrated from Lucca, Italy in 1912, Londy was one of the pioneers of San Jose Orchards. His family grew apricots, prunes and walnuts on ten acres. Londy decided to plant and grow twenty acres of walnuts in South San Jose. He will always be remembered for his love of the land.Londy was a WWII veteran who served his country proudly. Londy enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with family and friends, driving his Model A, flying and gardening in his yard. Londy is survived by his two daughters, two granddaughter and two sons-in-law. The family would like to thank their angel on earth, Joanne Keeney, Londy's private nurse and friend for taking care of him like he was her own father. Viewing from 3 - 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose. Private burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
