Louis was the son of Jennie Escarcega and the late Juan P. Lomelin. For 48 years a beloved husband to Mary Lomelin. A family man and cherished father to Jeanette (Steve) Quiroz, Louis Jr. (Alice) Lomelin, Ernie (Jackie) Lomelin, Tommy Lomelin, William Morris and the late Sammy Lomelin. A devoted brother to Lorraine Romero, John Lomelin, Dennis Escarcega, Robert Lomelin, Manuel Escarcega, and the late Frank Lomelin. Loved by his grandchildren Curina Ramirez, Ernie Lomelin Jr., Rick Fredriksz, Joshua Quiroz, and Alyssa Quiroz. A great-grandfather to Savannah, Nathaniel, and Abraham Ramirez, with many loving nephews and nieces. Friends are invited to attend a vigil service at Chapel of Flowers 900 S. 2nd St. San Jose, CA on Tuesday May 2, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 2020 E San Antonio St San Jose, CA on Wednesday May 3, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Louis will be laid to rest at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery 490 Lincoln St. Santa Clara, CA following the Mass.
