Manuel Moreno

MORENO, Manuel (Nick) Jr. -- Went to be with God Friday, August 15, 2003. Born in El Paso, TX on April 6, 1939, He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa C. Moreno, sons, Marcial Moreno and Omar Acevez and his only daughter Deborah Moreno, grandchildren, Omar Julianno Acevez and Leilah Tonatzil Acevez. Preceded him in death are his parents Manuel and Esperanza Moreno, sisters Eloise Moreno Martinez and Paula Moreno. Also survivinig are his siblings, Julia M. Garcia, Edward Moreno, Eugene Moreno, George Moreno, Cecila Moreno, and Jean Ruecker, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Moreno was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, and a retired member of the Carpenters Union. A graduate of the San Jose Tech High School. Nick was known for his great sense of humor and was very proud of his Mexican American Culture. He was a good father and generous to a fault. He will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. Visitation will begin at the CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, on Wednesday, August 20, 2003, 2:00 p.m. - 9 p.m. Burial at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine, CA.
