Mary Murtha

Mary Frances(Hennessey) Murtha Age 90, passed away on November 22, 2005. Loving mother of Daniel Murtha (Sallee), Kathleen Purdy (Donald), William Murtha (Linda) and Rosemary Caton (William). Grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 11. Preceded in death by her loving husband Vincent 'Hank' Murtha. Born in San Francisco, Mary spent most of her life in San Jose, working for many years as a bookkeeper at Hennessey Butane. She was an active member of St. Mary's German Church, a Past President of Catala Club of Santa Clara University, Past President of St. Mary's Mother's Guild and St. Boniface Auxiliary. Vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Five Wounds Church on Monday, November 28, 2005. Funeral Mass to follow at 7:15 p.m. at the above church. Burial at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, San Jose.
