Mervyn left to be with his parents December 15, 2016 after a long illness.Despite the adversities life dealt him, Mervyn was a special person who always brought out the best in the people around him. He had a remarkable ability to remember details about movie and television productions that astounded his friends and family.Mervyn is preceded in death by his brother Roland. He is survived by his brothers Dennis and William; nieces Lisa, Nancy K., Nancy C., and Thereasa; nephews Dean, Mark, William, James, Robert, Tony, and Jonathan.Services will be held at the Chapel of Flowers Funeral Home in San Jose Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at 7 pm. Viewing will begin at 4:30 pm.
