Ninfa Suarez Salazar

Ninfa Suarez Salazar On March 12, 2006, our mom entered into a peaceful life. Mom was a very proud Texas native, who loved the Dallas Cowboys, Little Joe and the Familia, the Texan Star, and all her cousins and uncles from Texas, especially Ray and Bertha Suarez. She loved the color red, to wear mini-skirts, Elvis, the Beatles, and Dr. Shields from Stanford Hospital for taking care of her. Our mom fulfilled many of her dreams; she saved money and went to the Big Apple, bought and paid for two brand new cars, made a few trips back to Texas, and supported herself. She worked at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel for many years, and was a teacher's aide a few years ago. She taught her kids the meaning of real work as we worked in the fields for many years. My mom had a good collection of coins and dolls that she loved to display. Our mom leaves behind her mother Rosa Dominquez Suarez, who she solely supported for many, many years; and four brothers and one sister. She also leaves behind her seven children; Joe, Rolando, Ruben, Rick, Carmen, Jeannie and Frank, their spouses, and their children. Our mom will be remembered by many for being a strong and proud person, her crazy laugh, and one who endlessly gave. Rest in peace mom, we will all meet again. Jeannie. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose, CA. Funeral Mass Thursday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
