CARTER, Norville Lee (Mercer) -- Died on April 9, 2003 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 61. Beloved wife of Daniel Carter, beloved daughter of Pauline Mercer and the late Robert Mercer. Loving mother of Shannon Johannes and mother-in-law to Greg Johannes. Cherished grandmother of Megan, Trevor and Samantha Johannes. Beloved sister of Diana, Bob and Rick Mercer. Loving aunt to Shelly Curry and her 3 children Sara, Shane and Hanah. Also aunt to Will and Hayley. Devoted niece of Theodora and Marian. Norville had many hobbies and interests. She loved to collect antiques, travel and spend time with her family and numerous friends. She was also the owner of The Blue Sheet in San Jose. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 S. 2nd Street, San Jose.
