Patricia (Pat) Dinapoli9/5/1937 - 9/24/2012Resident of San JosePat Dinapoli, a longtime resident of Willow Glen in San Jose, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sept. 24th after a prolonged illness.Pat was born in Oakland, CA and at age 10 moved to San Jose. She graduated from Notre Dame High School, San Jose and became a registered nurse after graduating from O'Connor Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as an RN IV at Good Samaritan Hospital where she later developed the position of Oncology Coordinator. She then continued as the Oncology Coordinator at Santa Clara Valley medical Center until her retirement after 20+ years in the nursing profession.Pat is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ben Dinaopli. Her sons Benny and Dean (Nela) Dinapoli, her daughter Donna Chiaramonte (Louis), grand daughters Christine Cumbo (Chris), Brenda Dinapoli and Theresa Chiaramonte. She enjoyed various activities including: traveling, cooking, sewing, bible studies and spending time with family and friends.She was active in the St. Christopher's Catholic Church Alpha program and as a volunteer in their food outreach program. Pat also enjoyed the time she spent with her friends as a part of the Saint Joseph's Mother's Group.Rosary Thursday Sept. 27th at 6:30pm at Chapel of Flowers.
