Paul Andrew Backhus

BACKHUS, Paul Andrew-- Peacefully entered into rest on Friday, April 19, 2002. He was born on September 21, 1964 in Mountain View, California. He leaves behind his lifetime companion David L. Williams, his loving father Charles H. Backhus, mother Dorothy L. Backhus, sister Sheryl L. Beckett, brother David A. Backhus and brother Mark E. Backhus.Paul was an avid gardener and landscape designer. He had a special love for the earth and enhanced its natural beauty with these talents. He shared these gifts by planting trees for, ""Our City Forest'. His passion for life was enhanced through entertaining others, cooking, traveling, and enjoying a wide variety of music. Those who were fortunate to share in life with him know his wonderful loving heart and how he reached out and touched so many lives in such positive ways.Visitation will be on Monday April 22, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at the CHAPEL OF FLOWERS at 900 South Second Street in San Jose. His final resting place will be Oak Hill Memorial Park in an Jose. Donations to ""The Bill Wilson House' in Santa Clara would be greatly appreciated.
