Phillis Ann WallApr. 4, 1924-Aug. 29, 2016Resident of San JosePhillis Edwards Percy Wall, 92, died at her home in the Evergreen district of San Jose on Aug 29. A graduate of Los Gatos High School and San Jose State College, she taught primary grades in the Mt. Pleasant School District for 30 years. She volunteered with the Evergreen 4-H and the Evergreen Youth Center and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and the PEO Sisterhood. An avid gardener, she was a member of Mt. Pleasant Garden Club. She is survived by her sister Suzanne David, Redding, CA, daughter Jane Kowalewski, Prescott, AZ, son James Percy, Olivehurst, CA, granddaughter Rene Owens, Red Oak, OK, grandson Jamie Percy, Yuba City, CA, and great grandson Josh Scheiber, East Nicholas, CA.
