Richard Montalvo

SGM Richard Montalvo Passed away August 19, 2009, age 64. Beloved Husband of Maria. Loving father of Richard, Christine and Adam Montalvo and Ivan Garcia. Adoring grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Paul, John, and Edward Montalvo. Richard was born in San Pedro California. He attended California Lutheran University and UC Santa Cruz receiving Masters Degrees in Administration of Justice and Corporate Taxation. He also served in the US Armed forces for 20 years where he received many awards and other recognition. Richard worked as the ROTC Instructor at Santa Barbara High School as well as Yerba Buena High School in San Jose, CA. He will remembered as a relentless, passionate, and kind man. Memorial Service on Thursday August 27, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. at Chapel of Flowers 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose.
