Rose Anne NavarraJan 10, 1924 - April 11, 2012Resident of CampbellRose Anne Navarra, 88 entered into rest on April 11th after a long bedside vigil with her family by her side. Rose battled Alzheimer 's disease for over 8 years. She is at Peace and resting in Heaven now. She will be missed by all and leaves an emptiness in our Hearts for all that loved her. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Navarra deceased in 1994. Rose was a loving mother of 3 Jeanne, Vincent and Anthony (Denise); adoring grandmother of 4 grandchildren Jennifer Simas (Josh), Jeffrey Amaral (Heather), Jessica Navarra and Brian Navarra. Rose also had two great grandchildren Hunter Piper Grace Simas. She is the daughter of the late Josephine Salvatore Tomasello of San Francisco. She had two brothers John Phillip Tomasello. Her mother had a big Italian family in San Jose the Taorminos. Devoted to her family, loyal friend and a Family Matriarch to many relatives. She was born in San Francisco, graduated from Balboa High School, Married in 1946 and moved to San Jose in 1953 and settling in Campbell her permanent home for over 50 years. She was a wonderful homemaker, master in cooking baking and involved in several social activities. In lieu of Flowers the Family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Activity Center c/o Rose Navarra, 2380 Enborg Ln., San Jose, CA 95128. Friends Family are invited to the viewing Rosary on Monday Apr 16th 7:00 PM at Chapel of Flowers. The following day on Tuesday Apr 17th 10:00 a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Lucy's Church, 2350 Winchester Blvd, Campbell, CA 95008
