Sally BrancoNov. 9, 1941 - Dec. 18, 2014San JoseSally was called home to the Lord after a valiant fight with cancer and pulmonarydisease. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family. She leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Tony, son Scott (Alex), daughter Kelly Rodman (John), grandchildren Ethan and Declan Branco and Julianna and Anthony Rodman, sister Susan Fitts and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.Sally was born in Merced, CA, attended Livingston High School, where she met Tony,and moved to San Jose to attend SJSU. Upon graduation, she and Tony married and raised their children in San Jose. She was a substitute teacher in Evergreen, taught at Most Holy Trinity School for 10 years and then pursued a career in business. She and Tony were avid 49er fans through good times and bad. They were season ticket holders the entire time the team was at Candlestick. With their friends they attended all five of the Super Bowls the team won. Memorial services and Celebration of Life will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, San Jose Jan. 10th at noon.
