Salome Martinez

Salome Martinez (1918-2004). Born October 22, 1918, in Jalisco, Mexico, and raised his children in San Jose, Calif. before retiring to Modesto, Calif. Rested peacefully on July 14, 2004. He is survived by his wife Mercedes Martinez and five children; Vera Vasquez of San Jose, Larry Martinez of Gilroy, Maria Elena McDonald of Modesto, Yolanda Martinez of Modesto, and Olivia Anaya of Modesto. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Vigil Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 S. Second St., San Jose. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Church in San Jose with Committal Services following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, San Jose. Beloved husband, beloved father and loving grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchild and friend to all who knew and loved him.
